Participate in a day of painting courtyards in schools improving the day to day of children in school. The objectives are:

-Create of alternative recreational spaces in the courtyard, where there is no great offer beyond sports such as football or basketball, limiting many girls and boys to enjoy these moments of disconnection.

-Promote coexistence, the relationship between equals, social cohesion, creative and cooperative play and psychomotor skills through the distribution of traditional spaces and games.

-Condition the school with various murals to achieve a more friendly and welcoming environment, as well as to prevent graffitis

What will be your role as a volunteer?

In this activity, the Repsol volunteer team will participate directly in the painting of the center.

Requirements

You should not have specific knowledge, the skill in painting will be valued but it is not a requirement. Only a good attitude and desire to help is required.

Low self-esteem and distrust of their own abilities are usually one of the great limitations that young people are in a situation of vulnerability and risk of exclusion, when they face the working world.

With this activity you will contribute with your experience and energy, to support young people on discovering their own strengths and increase their self-esteem to get their job placement.

What will be your role as a volunteer?

Volunteers will participate in a group session coordinated by the ITER Foundation and subsequently each volunteer will make a workshop with 4-5 young people, sharing with them their own experiences, with the aim of guiding them in the search of their professional skills and attitudes.

Requirements

Knowledge is not necessary, just a good attitude and desire to help.

Help vulnerable young people in your community! How? Sign up to contribute to their education by supporting the Event Ventilen  which offers activities for youth who has lived with violence, drug abuse, alcoholism, severe illness or sexual abuse in their homes. Several of these young people experience social anxiety and learning difficulties and are drop-outs of the school system. The aim of the event is to get our participants back to school or work and experience mastery and motivation to move forward in lifes.  

What will be your role as a volunteer?
In this activity, the Repsol team of volunteers will provide help to the hotel staff and City Church Mission organizers in the different tasks needed for the best outcome of the event! You´ll help will be needed for setting up the tables, serving the food, etc.

Requirements
You don't need any specific skills, as the organizers will guide you during the day, just good attitude and willingness to help! Sign up before October 14!

Communication skills are increasingly important for young people in their professional development. However, some people find it difficult to express themselves or speak in public. Help them improve these skills through this activity!

You will spend a morning carrying out a variety of exercises and activities with youngsters that have reduced employment prospects to work on verbal and non-verbal communication.

What will be your role as a volunteer?

In this activity, the team of Repsol volunteers will spend a morning with students, encouraging them to take part in several exercises to improve their written and verbal communication skills. Likewise, the team will advise students based on their experience in a non-verbal communication workshop.
