Would you like to enjoy a morning outdoors with your colleagues while helping the environment?

Acorns have been consumed by humans living on at least four different continents throughout history. Once considered the "sustenance of life" in indigenous cultures, the acorn is generally considered inedible in its raw form, but despite proper processing, its gifts are manifested. Participants will learn to identify oak, acorn picking tips (how to separate the good from the bad), the differences between the red and white oak groups (important for processing), and much more.

In addition, participants will participate in a tree-planting action. 

Who will be your role as a volunteer?

In this activity, the Repsol team of volunteers will collaborate with environmental and environmental organizations and will undertake reforestation actions.

Do you want to enjoy a day outdoors helping the environment?

If you sign up for this activity you will spend a day with Friends of Fish Creek learning about stewardship and wrapping the trunks of Poplar trees to help protect poplars from beaver activity and rescue previously wrapped trees from the grips of too-tight wire before they are girdled and killed. 

What will your role as a volunteer be?

For this activity, the team of Repsol volunteers will volunteers will help rescue poplars before they are girdled by the wire meant to protect them.

Transportation: Volunteers have the option to take group transportation by charter bus (50% capacity) or to take private transportation and utilize free parking at Hull’s Wood.

This activity requires walking, bending, and moderate lifting. PPE and garbage pickers will be provided to ensure your safety.

This activity is subject to change dependent on the weather.

The activity will be carried out taking into account all the social distancing and hygiene measures indicated for Covid-19.

Public washrooms are available year-round in the park.

In this activity you will be participate in a creative recycling workshop aimed at all children, adolescents, and young people in the Bogotá region. You will explain how a recyclable guitar is built, which they can use in any moments of anxiety, frustration, or sadness that they might be going through.

What will your role as a volunteer be?

For this activity, the team of Repsol volunteers will lead the session, in which they will explain how a musical instrument is built, giving theoretical and practical information to raise awareness about the importance of recycling, reusing, and reducing waste at home. In the same way, connecting the significant impact of having a guitar in their lives, from a cognitive, emotional, and social perspective. In addition to leading the workshop, you must record a video to be sent to all the children who aren't able to connect.

Join us in ending drinking water shortages in many parts of Vietnam, a problem that seriously affects the daily lives of many people.

What will your role as a volunteer be?

For this activity, the team of Repsol volunteers will offer a solution to filter drinking water using solar panels. These filtration systems can be installed in schools where there are many students and people from the surrounding areas or installed in community houses.
